16 Days 2018 of Activism Campaign

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence begin on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on  November 25 and end on International Human RightsDay on December 10.The 16 Days of Activism is a time  to both reflect on violence against women and to take action to end it. Since 1996 WiLDAF and Mkuki members have participated in this movement, reaching the four zones  of Tanzania including the south, south corridor, East, Central and Lake Zones. This year’s global campaign will focus on ending violence against women (VAW) in the world of work,  continuing to challenge powerful institutions. In collaboration with the global campaign, WiLDAF will  focus on raising awareness on keys issues of violence includes sextortions and rape, killing of intimate  partners, cyber bullying and corporal punishment.
